These terms set out what you can expect from us and what we ask of you — covering reservations, rates, cancellation, check-in, house rules and the legal basics. Please read them before you book. They are written to be clear rather than clever, and if anything is unclear we are happy to explain it.
1.About these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form the agreement between you and Mannat Lodge, a hotel and lodging business at Old LIC Building, Rabindra Sarani, Hailakandi, Assam - 788151, India (“we”, “us”, “the hotel”). They apply to your use of this website and to every reservation made through it.
By using this website or making a booking, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and house policies, which form part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use this website to book.
2.Who can book
To make a booking you must be legally able to enter into a contract. The person making the booking is responsible for the accuracy of all details provided and for the conduct of everyone in the party.
There is no minimum age requirement to check in at the property.
You agree to give true, current and complete information. We may refuse, hold or cancel a booking made with false, incomplete or unverifiable details, or where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
3.Reservations and confirmation
Submitting the booking form is a request, not a confirmed reservation. Your booking is confirmed only when we issue a confirmation with a booking reference, by email, phone or WhatsApp. Please check that every detail on your confirmation is correct and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.
Rooms and rates shown on this website are subject to availability and may change until your booking is confirmed. In the rare event that a room is unavailable because of an overbooking, a technical error or circumstances beyond our control, we will offer you an alternative room, alternative dates or a full refund of any amount paid. That is the limit of our liability in such a case.
Obvious errors — for example a clearly incorrect rate published by mistake — do not bind us, and we may cancel and refund any booking made on such an error.
Bookings made through travel platforms. If you booked through a third-party platform such as Booking.com rather than this website, that platform’s booking terms, rate conditions and cancellation policy apply to your reservation, alongside our house rules at the property. Please contact that platform to change or cancel such a booking.
4.Rates, taxes and inclusions
All rates are quoted in Indian Rupees (₹) and are per room per night, based on the occupancy shown for that room type. Applicable government taxes are charged extra at prevailing rates — currently GST at 5% of the room tariff.
Cribs, extra beds, extra occupants beyond the stated capacity, and any additional services you request during your stay are not included in the room rate. They are chargeable and payable separately at the property, and any charge you incur during your stay is payable before check-out.
5.Payment
No prepayment is required and no credit card is needed to book. No payment is taken through this website — you pay at the property, by UPI, cash or major debit and credit card. We may ask for a deposit or advance payment for long stays, group bookings or peak dates; we will tell you clearly if that applies before we confirm.
Beware of fraud. We will never ask you for your card CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking password or an OTP, and we will never ask you to pay into a personal bank account or wallet. If you receive such a request claiming to be from us, do not pay — call us on +91 93659 30018 to verify.
6.Cancellation, changes and no-show
- Free cancellation up to 24 hours before your check-in time. Cancel within that window and any advance paid is refunded in full.
- Late cancellation — cancelling less than 24 hours before check-in may attract a charge of up to one night’s tariff.
- No-show — if you do not arrive and have not cancelled, one night’s tariff may be charged and the remainder of the booking released.
- Early departure — if you leave before your booked check-out date, the nights already used are charged; refunds for unused nights are at our discretion.
- Changes — we will do our best to accommodate a change of dates, room type or guest count, subject to availability. Rates may differ.
To cancel or change a booking, contact us at connectmannatplace@gmail.com or +91 93659 30018 with your booking reference. Where a refund is due, it is processed by the method used for payment, normally within 7 to 10 working days.
7.Check-in, check-out and identification
Our front desk is staffed 24 hours, so check-in is available at any time of day or night. Check-out is between 11:00 AM and 12:00 noon. Late check-out beyond that is subject to availability and may be chargeable. It helps us if you tell us your approximate arrival time when you book.
A valid original government photo ID is mandatory for every guest at check-in, and we are required to record it. Foreign nationals must present a passport with a valid visa, and their stay is reported to the authorities as required by law. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation to anyone who cannot produce acceptable identification.
8.Occupancy and visitors
Only guests registered at check-in may stay in a room. The number of occupants must not exceed the capacity of the room type booked; extra occupancy, where the room permits, is chargeable and must be agreed with the front desk.
Children of all ages are welcome. Guests aged 18 and above are charged as adults. A crib for a child aged 0–2 years can be provided on request at ₹200 per child per night; cribs and extra beds are subject to availability, are not included in the room rate, and are paid for separately at the property. Please tell us the number and ages of children when you book so we can quote correctly.
Children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times within the property. Day visitors must register at the front desk and are not permitted in guest rooms after reasonable hours.
9.House rules and guest conduct
We want every guest to feel safe and comfortable. While at the property you agree to:
- Treat our staff, other guests and neighbours with courtesy and respect.
- Keep noise to a minimum, particularly between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
- Comply with all applicable laws and with the instructions of our staff on safety and security matters.
Parties and events are not allowed at the property, and we do not accommodate bachelor, bachelorette or similar parties.
Pets are welcome on request, free of charge. Please tell us in advance so we can allocate a suitable room. Pets must be supervised, kept under control in shared areas, and you remain responsible for any damage or disturbance they cause.
The following are not permitted anywhere on the property:
- Illegal drugs or any unlawful activity.
- Firearms, explosives, flammable materials or other hazardous items.
- Smoking in non-smoking rooms or areas, and the use of open flames, heaters or cooking appliances in rooms.
- Commercial photography, filming or events without our prior written permission.
- Behaviour that is abusive, threatening, harassing or endangers others.
We may refuse entry, or require a guest to leave without refund, where these rules are broken. Additional cleaning or damage charges may apply.
10.Damage and lost property
You are responsible for any loss or damage caused to the property, its furnishings or equipment by you or anyone in your party, and we may charge the reasonable cost of repair or replacement.
Please keep your belongings secure and use the safety measures available. Items left behind are held for a reasonable period and can be collected or, where practical, returned at your cost. We are not responsible for cash, jewellery, electronics or other valuables left unattended in rooms or public areas.
11.Liability
We take reasonable care to keep the property safe and to describe our rooms and facilities accurately. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss or damage arising from your own act or omission, from the conduct of third parties, or from circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law. Where our liability is limited, it will not exceed the total amount you paid for the booking concerned.
12.Events beyond our control
We are not liable for failure to provide accommodation or services because of events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, fire, epidemics or pandemics, government orders, curfews, strikes, civil unrest, or failures of power, water or internet supply. In such cases we will offer alternative dates or a refund of amounts paid for the affected nights, at your option, where reasonably possible.
13.Use of this website
This website, including its text, photographs, layout, logos and code, is our property or is used with permission, and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, republish or use our content or brand name commercially without our prior written consent.
You agree not to:
- Make false, speculative or fraudulent bookings.
- Use automated tools to scrape, overload or disrupt the site.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the site, its database or the staff dashboard.
- Introduce malicious code or otherwise interfere with the site’s operation.
The site is provided on an “as is” basis. We work to keep information accurate and the site available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every detail is free of error. Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.
14.Feedback and complaints
If anything is not right during your stay, please tell the front desk immediately so we can put it right while you are with us. If a concern remains unresolved, write to us at connectmannatplace@gmail.com or call +91 93659 30018. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to resolve them within 30 days.
15.Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with them, or with your booking or stay, is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Hailakandi, Assam. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute amicably.
16.Changes to these terms, and how to reach us
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time you make a booking is the version that applies to that booking. If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
