Your privacy matters to us. 2.Information we collect
We only collect information we actually need to run the hotel.
Information you give us
- Booking details — your full name, mobile number, email address (optional), check-in and check-out dates, number of guests, room type, and any special requests or notes you add.
- Enquiries — anything you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp, including the content of those messages.
- At check-in — details from a valid government photo ID, which we are required to record for every guest under applicable Indian law and local police regulations. For foreign nationals we are additionally required to record passport and visa details and report the stay to the authorities (Form C).
Information collected automatically
- Basic technical data — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and approximate location, collected by our hosting provider in standard server logs for security and reliability.
What we do not collect
- No card or payment data. This website does not process payments. We never ask for and never store card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN, net-banking credentials or OTPs. Payment is made at the property.
- No sensitive personal data such as health, biometric, religious or financial information is requested through this website.
Please do not send us passwords, card details or OTPs by email or WhatsApp. No member of our staff will ever ask you for them.
3.How we use your information
We use your personal data only for these specific, lawful purposes:
- To create, confirm, modify or cancel your booking.
- To send you a booking confirmation and any messages necessary for your stay, by email, phone or WhatsApp.
- To answer your questions and provide guest service before, during and after your stay.
- To maintain guest and occupancy records required by law, including the guest register and ID records.
- To keep the property and our guests safe, and to prevent fraudulent or abusive bookings.
- To keep accounting records and meet our tax and regulatory obligations.
We rely on your consent, given when you submit a booking or enquiry, and on our legitimate and legal obligations as a licensed lodging business. We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling.
Marketing: we do not run marketing email campaigns and do not add you to any mailing list. If we ever do, it will be opt-in and every message will carry a one-click unsubscribe link.
6.How we protect your information
This website is served over HTTPS, so information you submit is encrypted in transit. Booking records are held in an access-controlled database, and the staff dashboard is protected by password-based login. Physical guest records at the property are kept secured, and access is limited to staff who need it.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs that affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.
7.How long we keep it
- Booking and guest records — kept for as long as needed to service your stay and then for the period required by tax, accounting and lodging regulations.
- Enquiries — kept only as long as needed to deal with your question and any follow-up.
- Server logs — kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.
When data is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
8.Your rights
Subject to applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data of yours we hold and get a summary of it.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected or updated.
- Ask us to erase your personal data, where we are not required to keep it by law.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting anything done before you withdrew it.
- Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf.
- Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it if you are not satisfied.
To exercise any of these, email connectmannatplace@gmail.com from the address you booked with, or call +91 93659 30018. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days, at no cost.
9.Children
This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children under 18 through this site — bookings for families are made by a parent or guardian, who provides any details for accompanying children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data directly, contact us at connectmannatplace@gmail.com and we will delete it.
10.Other websites
Our site links to third-party services such as Google Maps, WhatsApp and our social media pages, and you may also find us listed on travel platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. Please read their own privacy policies before providing information to them.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or to the law. The current version is always published on this page with the “last updated” date at the top. Material changes will be made clear on this page. Continuing to use the website after an update means you accept the revised policy.
